When measuring the midrail height, it is important to measure to the center point of where you would like the midrail to be placed. As the midrail is the same size as an individual blade, it will be placed approximately +/- 40mm for the specified height.

This measurement is applicable for both single and dual midrails.

Shutter Measurements – Width & Height

Measuring Shutter Width

To accurately measure your window’s width for a future shutter installation, fully open the window and place a measuring tape horizontally inside the frame.
Measure from the left to the right edge, taking the smallest accurate measurement in millimeters (mm). Double-check the measurement again before inputting the measurement to Ready Made Shutters.
Following these steps ensures a proper fit for the shutters, enhancing both the aesthetics and functionality of your windows.

Measuring Shutter Height

To measure your window’s height for the installation of shutters, open the window completely. Position a measuring tape vertically along the inside of the window frame. Measure from the top edge to the bottom edge of the frame, ensuring an accurate measurement. Take the measurement at least twice for consistency. Use the smallest measurement obtained to guarantee a proper fit for the shutters and only after that point, you can enter the height of your window into the height measurement.
