What material are the internal shutters made from?
Timber using poplar timber one species, made the old-fashioned way tenon mortar butt joint, (old school joinery).
PVC is made from plastic with a UV stabiliser, inserted with aluminium to add strength.
What colours can the shutters come in?
With our ready-made shutters, there is only one colour available; Lexicon Half Dulux.
For our custom-made shutters, you are free to choose any custom colour that is offered on the Dulux Australian Colour chart. Fees and charges apply for the addition of custom colour to your custom-made shutters.
What sheen are the shutters made to?

What does Australian made really mean?
What is the warranty on your products?
- Tough shutters – 15 years
- Timber shutters – 10 years
- PVC shutters – 10 years
- External aluminium suhtters – 15 years material and powder coat
What are your local pickup and delivery costs?
Delivery of internal shutters within the greater Brisbane area is a flat $30 fee, per shutter. Outside of Brisbane the fee $40 per internal option and this excludes all external shutters. External shutters is a flat fee of $200 per opening.
How long will it take for the custom-made internal shutters to be delivered?
10 weeks from when the order is received and successfully paid for. If your custom-made internal shutter has a custom colour added to the order, this will add an additional two weeks to the delivery.
How long will it take for the ready-made shutters to be ready?
Your new ready-made shutters will be delivered 72 hours from your order and successful payment (subject to stock levels).
How long will it take for external blinds to be ready?
Is there a difference between Australian sourced and Australian made, and what is it?
Australian made is the product still being imported from overseas in pieces and then it is assembled here in Australia.
Australian sourced and manufactured is all pieces and parts are sourced and assembled from within Australia.
What is the policy on returns of any shutters I may purchase online?
We strive to provide the highest quality products available in the market. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with our product, kindly send us a video of the issue within 48 hours of receiving it. Please mention the box number, for example, the frame might be in room living box 6, and provide us with a photo and a detailed description of the issue. We will get in touch with you after that.
To avoid any damages to the product, please be careful while opening the boxes or plastic covers with scissors or knives. This can result in scratches or cuts to the material. However, we check all fabrics and shutters before shipping and document them with photographs to ensure the safety of the product.
Are internal shutters lockable?
Yes – our tough shutters are lockable via a key lock or flush bolt and offers the best security within any shutters in the marketplace.
